This set of books is written for young (5-6 years old) beginner pianists. After a certain experience of teaching, I realized that children seem to enjoy the learning process more when playing together with a teacher or an adult, in this I mean playing in four-hands. When a child plays, even just one note, together with an accompaniment by an adult, it sounds much more exciting and makes the child more enthusiastic to learn. The whole first volume of the book is based on this principle, every new chapter of the book has its own accompaniment section for the teacher to make the learning experience more enjoyable for the child. The book also contains excercises and worksheets for the young pianist to complete.

In the second book, there is no longer an accompaniment section and the child is expected to be able to play on their own. The second volume is more focused on teaching scales, intervals and chords.
